You might recall how excited I was back in January when the movie Divorce Corp came to a theater near me (I wrote about it here). This past weekend I was even more delighted to attend the Divorce Corp Family Law Reform Conference in Alexandria, VA. The event was attended by a wide variety of people: lawyers, therapists, coaches, consultants, moms, dads, friends… each one with a personal story and a deep desire to see some serious changes in the family court system. Book: The Two Roads to Divorce

The Two Roads to Divorce was written by Lenard Marlow, who has assisted in the divorce process both as an attorney and a mediator.  Experience taught him much, and, being familiar with both roads to divorce, he has done an excellent job communicating his knowledge to the reader. The book is written in the second-person narrative and reads almost like a series of short letters to a person embarking on the Journey of Divorce.  The relatively short chapters begin with a title and an appropriate quote.  Example: CHAPTER 3 WHOSE FAULT IS IT? Documentary: Divorce Corp

If you follow me on Twitter, you know that I’ve been super-excited to see the movie Divorce Corp since I found out about it a few weeks ago.  Initially, I was planning a 2.5 hour road trip to see the film at the closest location.  Thankfully, due to popular demand (probably thanks to Dr. Drew’s interview on CNN), it opened in a nearby theater and I was able to see the movie last night.
