Interview with Laura Lawson Boatman, Creator of PEP

I’ve said it a hundred times:  divorce is a human process with a legal document that comes with it. Navigating the “human” part requires more than a lawyer. That’s where friends, family and therapy come in. Also, Positive Energy Psychology (PEP) can help too In the video below, Laura Lawson Boatman will teach you all about it.

I first heard the words “positive energy psychology” last summer while relaxing on my deck and listening to an interview with Bruce Lipton, PhD. He talked about the ways in which our attitudes can influence our overall health and how we can change our mental state rather quickly through PEP. I liked the idea and vowed to look into it. Then, I took a nap.

It was a couple months after hearing the interview when I finally sat in front of my laptop and tried to remember the keywords I wanted to search. Eventually, my clicks brought me to a Youtube video by Laura Lawson Boatman. In the clip, she demonstrated the technique and I followed along. I was impressed with the results. After just a few minutes, I felt relaxed and peaceful.

I began using PEP for Peaceful Wellbeing to help me when I felt anxious, and it worked. After a few months of turning to PEP when I needed it, the thought occurred to me that the tool could be extremely useful to those struggling through the divorce or separation process. So, I reached out to Laura through her web site and asked her to share her wisdom with my audience. To my delight, she agreed.

As you’ll see in the video below, PEP is easy. It’s also free. The process doesn’t take much time, and it can be helpful for children too. It’s a tool for the whole family. Check it out:
